Taunton, Somerset – 600 home planning consent and disposal
Following extensive planning representations, masterplanning and stakeholder engagement over a five year period, Nick and his team successfully secured a resolution to grant consent for about 600 homes on the northern edge of Taunton, known as Nerrols Farm. Section 106 terms were negotiated, in addition to affordable housing and extensive tree planting for mitigating the visual and wildlife impact.
The development also provided local shopping facilities and a site for a new school. It was sold as a whole to Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes.
